This business was formed to complement their sister company. It’s a vibrant environment. They run their own Enterprise resource planning system, Microsoft GP, a warehouse management system, and a shop floor data collection system. All other IT systems are shared with the sister company whose IT Team manages them. The 3 stand-alone systems are supported by external consultants.
Due to growth they are now looking for a graduate to provide day to day IT support on the 3 discrete systems and work in conjunction with the sister company’s IT team. The role will cover all aspects of IT support from PC set up to cyber security training.
The role will also be heavily engaged with improvement activities as processes and systems are improved.
The business is successful and profitable; they are currently growing at 20% per annum with a blue-chip customer base. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the whole business process within a professional organisation. The role will work closely with the sister company’s IT team and you will be able to learn and benefit from that relationship.
You should be a recent graduate with IT knowledge across a business environment. A can do, self-starter attitude coupled with a completer finisher mentality is essential, and you should be happy speaking with a range of people across all levels and seniority.
Some project management skills – particularly IT implementation would be ideal, as would data analysis skills.
At times you may need to work unsociable hours if necessary to facilitate IT implementations/upgrades etc.
