This already well-established business  is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of a range of articulated lifting truck equipment. They supply to some of the industries that have also prospered in lockdown; they had a great 2020 and are looking good for 2021.

They are looking to add a graduate to their team.

You will be playing a key part in the design and development of the next generation of material handling equipment, taking into account: ease of assembly; cost of manufacture; ease of servicing; latest advances in technology.

You should possess knowledge of:

• Mechanical systems (gears, bearings etc…);
• Hydraulic systems;
• Fabrication & assembly processes;
• Design and drafting (AutoCAD 2D &3D);
• Production processes.

You will be communicating at all levels, both verbally and in writing, and will be undertaking complex work in a planned and systematic manner. It’s a great opportunity to take a project into production, and be able to think ‘I did that’

Your degree should be General engineering, Mechanical engineering or Design engineering related- and some knowledge of electrical/electronic control systems would also be ideal.
