This group of businesses are looking to add a graduate to their head office Marketing team. As the team grows and changes so will the opportunities available. As a family owned group, they invest in people to ensure they achieve their potential whilst working there- people who joined as graduates are now in senior positions.
The Marketing Department is a high achieving department within the group and has big aspirations, the need is for an individual who is enthusiastic, self-driven and uses initiative to achieve the overarching marketing objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Team, you will be supporting the delivery and execution of communications for each of the businesses that fall into B2B, B2C, ecommerce and agency. Including digital, social media, direct and PR campaigns. There is also opportunity to get involved in internal marketing and communications throughout the group.
A confident, motivated individual you should be seeking a career in marketing and business management (and have knowledge of both areas). A can-do attitude to anything thrown your way is essential. In return there is the opportunity to work across six different brands and utilise all marketing disciplines, across a variety of mediums. New ideas are welcomed, and they wish to push the boundaries of the industries they operate in. You should be someone who wishes to take these challenges face on.
You will be getting involved with loads of areas:
Cross channel strategic marketing campaigns; communications plans; market and competitor analysis; email campaigns; social media; creating and updating content; developing case studies; assisting sales teams with sales collateral; generating reports and making recommendations on current and future marketing activities; idea generation; producing reports; CRM management; marketing administration; and more.
Make no mistake, this is a great opportunity and you will need to show that you are the right person.
A minimum of a 2:1 in a marketing or business-related degree is required. A mix of business and marketing knowledge is essential and a hybrid degree would be ideal.
You should already have some experience too- not just from your degree, it could be from a job, placement, internship, or something you have done in your own time.
Experience within the Abode creative cloud is desirable.
While you will normally be office based in Leicester (but also able to work from home a day or two a week), at times you will have the opportunity to travel (with occasional overnight stays) to other group offices, sites, conferences, exhibitions or external organisations such as training providers.
You should ideally have your own transport.
